Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you use the TAOGI Guide, we collect:

— Your email address (used for account creation and login)

— Your conversation history (stored to let you pause and resume your journey)

— Anonymized journey tags: at two moments during your session, the Guide records a short structured summary — your Human Design type, a pattern descriptor, and a clarity level (high/medium/low). No conversation text is stored in these tags.

Human Design Chart Calculation

To calculate your Human Design chart, we ask for your birth date, birth time, and birth location. This information is used solely to perform a one-time calculation of your Human Design type, authority, and profile. Your birth data is processed locally within the application. To determine the precise coordinates and timezone for your birth location, your birth city and country are sent to OpenCage Geocoding, a third-party service, solely for the purpose of this calculation. OpenCage does not store or retain this information beyond the immediate request. Your birth date and time are never transmitted to any third party. Your birth data is never stored in our database or retained after your chart has been calculated. Only the results of the calculation — your Human Design type, authority, and profile — are saved to your account. You may delete your account at any time to remove all stored information associated with you.

The Path Reading

To generate your Path reading, we ask for the name you currently go by, your full birth name, and your date of birth. Your name and birth date are used solely to calculate your numerology profile using the Chaldean system. This information is processed locally within the application and is never stored in our database, transmitted to third parties, or retained after your Path reading has been calculated. Only the results of the calculation — your numerology numbers and overview statement — are saved to your conversation history.

What we do not collect

— We do not sell your data.

— We do not store your full conversation in any analytics system.

— The journey tags contain no quotes, personal details, or identifying information beyond your Human Design type category.

How we use anonymized insights

The journey summary tags are used in aggregate only — to understand which Human Design types reach the paywall, what patterns are most common, and whether users who complete the full journey report clarity. No individual is identified in this analysis.

Data retention

— Conversation history: retained as long as your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.

— Journey summary tags: retained indefinitely in anonymized aggregate form. The user_id foreign key is deleted when your account is deleted (CASCADE).

— Stripe subscription data: retained per Stripe's data retention policy and our legal/billing obligations.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing alexis@thefccoach.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EU/UK, you have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Third-party services

— Supabase: database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy)

— Anthropic: AI model provider — your messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses (anthropic.com/privacy)

Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

Changes to this policy

We will post any material changes to this page with an updated date. Continued use of TAOGI after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
